Separate slide from the frame
Remove the barrel assembly
XDS: Using a pin punch or screwdriver – press down on black spacer located in the slide of your gun and press towards the muzzle.
XD/XDM/MOD2: Using a pin punch the same size of your firing pin – press inward on spring loaded firing pin.
Then, with your other hand – carefully remove the slide cover plate. Be Careful! Components are spring loaded.
Install Clipdraw replacement slide cover plate by pressing on white plastic insert at back end of slide (XDS) or pressing inward on spring loaded firing pin (XD/XDM/MOD2) while simultaneously inserting slide cover plate into position.
Mount the clip on either side using screws, washers and allen wrench provided.

I have been carrying my xds 45 all day every day with my clip draw it works fantastic holds the gun close to my body and securely it’s so low profile I now carry my gun with the full size 7 round magazine instead of the 5 round one it hides so well under all but the tightest fitting clothes tip wear a under shirt to make it all day comfortable

This is my second ClipDraw purchase. Went from an IWB Kydex holster to the ClipDraw. ClipDraw makes carrying a pistol more comfortable. Quality and fitment is precise. ClipDraw reduces bulky holsters and makes for retrieving your firearm very easy.

I’ve been using the clip draw for about 10yrs but the universal clip. I upgraded to the XDS specific clip. Much better. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the universal this is just better as it’s a little wider. I’m pleased.

Great product have already told a few friends and they plan on purchasing themselves. I can never find the right holster now I don’t have to worry about that anymore I can carry all the time and be comfortable

I’ve been looking for a holster that carries my 3.3” xds 40 close to my body. This clip is amazing and let’s you truly conceal carry in just about any clothing. I don’t leave home without it.

The design of the clip keeps the pistol concealed deep in the waistband & is very comfortable & unnoticeable to carry all day everyday. I farm and am in & out of equipment all the time in different positions & it makes my Springfield comfortable to have at all times.

I finally found something that works for EDC no matter what I’m wearing! Only down side to on a XDS is the grips on the slide tend to drag when drawing. Not a clip Draw problem tho! Good Job!

I Love it! Quick easy instructions and to install works great and doesn’t hurt when sitting or moving around. I’m a big guy so that’s very important since I appendix carry. My cousin showed me this product since he recently purchased it too. Now we both have it and use it every day. Had an issue with shipping and my address but there customer service quickly fixed that and I was well satisfied. You won’t be disappointed in this prouduct.

Great product, easy assemble & low profile. I have the ClipDraw for my XDS .45. The install was easy enough, just remember to hold in the rear spring when removing the back plate. Will definitely continue to carry.

I am really loving the clip draw with my XD .40. Its much better than bulky holsters and holds my pistol securely in place. I use it with trigger hairs for added safety. Never going back to other methods
